Fall Is Upon Us

Everyone knows, that Fashion is always forward thinking. I did say forward thinking, not always forward progress. SS2020 is coming to an ominous close, yet looking ahead to fall, there seems to be familiar faces, and there also seems to be differences. Let’s talk trend. Nousprint doesn’t do trend ( I know sounds elitist ), but it is the honest truth.

We look into what is on the runway and possibly go directly opposite. For two reasons, trend today, is not what it was during the 90’s era of decadence at outright must-have fashion. For men, there was never really a trend, well because usually we see the monochromatic black, grey, blue, and if we dare, brown. Recently there is this emergence of this male, who wants color, bold print and overall excitement. Color is the spice of the wardrobe.

Color is the spice of the wardrobe.

Here’s where I believe suiting finally got it right. They took the boldness of street-wear in the upcoming season and decided to kick it in high gear. As they should. It’s about time menswear, specifically suiting had a dress up look. Bespoke or not, fall this season is really shaping up to be a stepping for men’s suiting and taking its mantle back from street-wear ( this person breathes a sigh of relief ).

That’s what brings me to AW/2020. I can’t say, that I’m surprised by familiar faces, but there is new life emerging from the street-war behemoth that swallowed the industry hole. Look, this is not going to be a curation of every trend. However, lets quickly look at suiting. One sublime part of the 2020 men’s A/W is use of print on the exterior of suits.

Graphic suits, tops, pants ( trousers for you blokes ), has us all here at Nousprint thinking, what can we do, to either complement, or not, this new face of 2020. Simply put, you’ll have to wait and see.

If prints are being exaggerated in suiting, best believe accessories will follow. As the house of Nousprint readies for AW/2020, here are few things you can expect to see from us:

[1] New characters

[2] Bolder prints

[3] Some on, maybe off trend items. Mostly off.

[4] Brighter colors

[5] New Boards

It’s an exciting time for menswear. I think with the current state of boredom that we in, its about time to turn up the color volume. We will be right there with you.

Be loud!
